What Activities are There?

There is a trailhead that goes between our lot and that of our neighbours. If you. follow it, it will eventually lead you to the top of Paint Mountain. This is a hike of moderate difficulty, and it’s a lot of fun. Bring lots of water, bear spray, and food. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to reach the top.

There is a lot of snow around during winter and spring. Check out the Village of Haines Junction Recreational Maps for information on local trails, and trails in Kluane National Park.

There is no fine dining in Haines Junction. However, in the summer the bakery is open. They best place to eat is likely Top Spot gas station. Their food is excellent, and their coffee is good.

Pine Lake is a great spot for canoeing and fishing. If you bring a canoe or a boat, you can take full advantage. A good spot to launch a canoe is the boat launch on Pine Lake Road, or at the Pine Lake Campground.
